18th Tour de Lapland

HISTORY

Tour de Lapland has been recycled annually from 2007 through Lapland from Sweden border to Russian border or vice versa. So this is officially the 18th Tour de Lapland. In 2024 we ride out on 15th July from Kolari border station bridge of Sweden to reach the Salla Kelloselkä border station of Russia on 19th July. You can attend on the Tour with any moving tool enjoying the shorter local Freerides or even the whole way through Lapland.

ROUTE

The official route of Tour de Lapland 2024 is Kolari – Ylläs – Muotkavaara – Levi – Kittilä – Sodankylä – Luosto – Pyhä – Kemijärvi – Salla – Kelloselkä. The length is 450 km and it is driven on 5 days so that you can drive the daily distances 0 – 100 km as like and enjoy the service car if needed. The whole route is supported, peaceful and easy ridable asphalted and flat road through the Lapland visiting the most famous resorts of upper Lapland.

16.7. Freeride Äkäslompolo 3 km start at 10.00 from Jounin Kauppa to the Wizard
17.7. Freeride Kittilä 5 km start at 11.00 from Kittilä airport to Kittilä beach
18.7. Freeride Sodankylä 5 km start at 10.00 from Sodankylä church to Astropolis
19.7. Freeride Kemijärvi 8 km start at 10.00 from Kemijärvi Nuokkari to Kallaanvaara sawmill
